Stephen's first musical Midsummer Night's Song  is a modern, upbeat adaptation of Shakespeare's play .

His second musical The Person Residing At Longwood is the story of Napoleon's St. Helena exile, an excerpt cd of which is currently on sale through leading St. Helena retailers Solomons & Co. The Harlow Playhouse staged Stephen's radical adaptation of The Merchant Of Venice,  which he also directed and co-wrote the music. After, at the same venue, Stephen directed the comedy  No Sex Please, We're British. His latest work is Problem Day which is being developed in conjction with the learning disabled drama group Actability Theatre Co , of Bishops Stortford. Stephen's other plays include Reaching Up For The Bottom Rung,  Milton's Jacket, Sanity Crucified  and Poochyboy's. Friends.
